Does anyone have the P/N for the Nav unit in the 2005 H2? I believe this is the touch screen version...I have heard GM is discontinuing the 2004 non-touch screen model.

Has anyone removed the NAV unit from a 2004/2005? I am curious where the GPS antenna is located.

I'm putting together the parts to upgrade my 2003 to a NAV unit. I was thinking of fab'ing a splitter cable for the onstar GPS antenna and tying in the NAV unit. I saw the dash removal Klaus went thru, and am looking for less painful alternative.

Any details on the GPS antenna is appreciated...don't know if this is passive antenna or if it possibly receives power from the onstar unit...which could complicate the splitter idea.

Thanks

The last time I was at my dealer, they connected a Tech 2 to a 2005 H2 SUT to read the part number of the TNR, which displayed part number 15120706.

I doubt you will be able to use a splitter to use 2 GPS devices (OnStar and NAV) with just the one OnStar antenna.

Delphi told me that the NAV unit antenna is an "active" unit.

It's quite possible. Being first has its disadvantages...
