I recently upgraded to an 06 SUT from my 03 SUV. Let me say, the fit and finish is much better, the interior is much nicer, and the ride is much smoother. I guess a bunch of small, incremental improvements have made it in over the past few years. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase!!!!

Congrats!
So are you running the same suspension pkg? lux/lux or adv/adv?

Bill... thanks for your insight! It is appreciated, regardless of dumb-asses like the "fisherman" Gorton!
Although I went with an '05 SUV, I can certainly see the difference in ride and overall comfort from my '03 -- glad to see I'm not the only one who feels that way!
Congratulations!

That's fabulous. I tend to like the sport package better but that is just a personal preference. I've actually been pretty impressed with how smooth the H2 '03 is! You can pretty much take it to Vegas and pull in to Valet w/ oohs and aahs then, on the way back home, take an offroad trail and ooh and aah yourself! What a great vehicle!! Our sport package also has a dvd player which makes it feel a bit more on the luxury side. We are cheating a bit, huh?

My '05 SUV's ride is the same as my '03 SUV's, both Lux with air suspension. The fit/finish of my '03 is excellent, a match for my '05. The leather on my '05 is superior in quality & the overall interior package simply "flows" better. Other than that, the differences are slight, incremental at best. I bought an '05 as a daily driver & intend to extensively modify my '03 in the next year or so. If your '03 has been meticulously maintained & taken care of as mine has, there is little incentive to move to an '05. If you want an SUT, or just want an '05 SUV go for it, otherwise you'll have a hard time justifying the difference, IMO. Good luck.

I had an SUV manufactured in July 2002. One of the first on the lot.

I got to drive an 05 SUT while I was in for some warranty work. I loved the extra power and interior over my 03. I just have too much money into my 03 to trade up though. I have to agree that there are lots of improvements.

My 03 was built in August of 02 and I have yet to be disappointed in any aspect of it. I agree the new ones have more power and are smoother, but I like mine just the way it is.

My '03 (with 33,000 miles) hasn't given me any problems at all...I haven't had a chance to drive an '05 yet so I wouldn't know if there's a difference. Although, the guy that installed my CompuStar has an '05 and he drove my '03...he did say they were about the same feel other than my '03 seemed to have better acceleration...I guess that's just due to the airaid intake, flowmaster muffler and hypertech programmer.

Bill, you got the color right!
I guess GM is really hurting for cash. You know, having to chop the back of trucks off and all.
