Default Rear Access Open on SUT

I am getting the message on my DIC that says "Rear Access Open" and it will not let me roll up my midgate window. Midgate is definitely up, have opened and shut it several times, yet still getting this message and can not roll up the rear midgate window. Anyone else have this issue, and if so, what is the fix?
Thanks,
Trinity

I've had this happen a couple of times. I usually try to close the mid-gate from the driver's side. When this happened, I went to the passenger side, pressed the button to open the gate, dropped the gate then re-shut the gate from the passenger side. This cleared the message and allowed the windo to go up. You may need to slam the gate shut, but it has always cleared for me.

Tried that as well. Dropped it at the dealer today for some other service that I had previously scheduled and they advised it that the window motor had gone bad. I'll let you know how it ends up. Thanks for the response.

BTW - driving a 08 loaner now - damn, it is a smooth shifting, tighter feeling, and more rumbly exhaust. Love my current rig too much to do anything about it, but envious of you 08 folks!
