And it wasn't a Broadway play. Ha.

Um, yeah, so after our off-road excursion last time, somehow leaves started entering the ventilation system in the car. In fact, I had the HVAC running the other day, and snow started coming in! So something is fishy. I had a tech at a GM garage take the leaf out, and it appears he molested the blower, for now sometimes the heat is on, even when I turn the system to 60. Is there any way for me, a slightly mechanically inclined person, to fix either the intake problem or the blower shunt?

Additionally, I had the rear seatback release fixed at the dealership, but it has gone bad again. The cable is no long taught when I push up the seat bottom, so I have to tug on it to make the seat fold. I am now OUT of warranty. Will the dealer have to fix this again for no cost, or should I try to find a way to clip a grommet on the line and tighen it up?

The blower issue should be resolved by the dealership, since it was an ongoing problem before the warranty expired. The seat release issue should be able to be easily resolved. There is a connector at the end of the cable that attaches to the seat release. This looks like 2 90degree bends , so it just gets looped into the hole at the end of the release, which will but back the tension on the cable and allow for the seat to be folded forward.

Good luck on both issues!
