Your only option is to FM modulate or install a factory head unit. I understand there is no aux. input in the rear of the factory stereo despite the fact that there is an Aux. button on the radio. I didn't want to mess with the factory stereo so I went with the Alpine-FM modulated version in my H2. Of course, you lose sound quality with an FM modulator, but I almost always listen to the sportstalk stations on my XM radio, so sound quality isn't as important for me. I just bought the Delphi XM with FM mod. for my wife's Jeep Liberty and it sounds pretty darn good. If you want the option of taking XM into your home I would go with this route. It's a little tricky to find a good place to install it though. Good luck.

Thanks it took them a long time but I think it was worth the wait - plus I got the first three months of XM for only $10.57 !!

Great looking install!
I would have never thought about a flush mount up there. Now that you have had it installed a couple of days how do you like the placement? Can you see the display OK while driving?

The placement is terrific in my opinion I am 6'5" and I can view it perfectly. The alpine unit comes equipped w/ a remote control and 12 presets so you really never need to take your eye off the road to flip around. Looks super @ night. May add a trim piece aroung outer edge to make it look even cleaner but not 100% on that choice as of yet. Even though FM modulated sounds great. Need to raise the volume slightly for same outout as FM stereo or a CD.

Eric,
Great looking intall!
I put the Kenwood Sirius tuner w/FM Mod in mine and thought about mounting the control unit like you did but the display is too bright (brighter even than the hi beam indicator ). It would be a hazard at night. There is no way to dim the display either.
I was wondering if you had the same problem, or can you adjust your display?
Thanks,
John

Does anyone have a good mounting location for a Delphi XM unit?

I was thinking about the Delphi unit but really couldn't think of a nice spot besides the top of the dash and simply remove it when not in use. Eric

Eric,
These pictures are great, however the make me sad, for I can not get XM in Hawaii, yes today is sad day.
Nevertheless, this may change if XM sees how sad it is that the do not have their service in Hawaii.
