Default Chrome or No Chrome?

What do you guys think? Do you prefer the Blacked out look, or the blingy look?

When I was a kid, you could order a nice looking, adequately equipped Bel Aire. For a little more money you could move up to an Impala, which got you among other things, a little more chrome. Or you could go all the way upscale, and get an Impala SS which got you top of the line equipment and maxed out chrome.

On the H3, I like the OEM chrome treatment and think that any more looks excessive.

I'm not fond of the "grunge" no chrome look, maybe OK if you live in Seattle.
