SPEEDO AND TACH WORK BUT OTHER GAUGES DON'T ????

For the last few weeks my instrument gauges have working intermittently but my speedometer and tachometer always work. The messages unknown driver and service 4 wheel drive always pop up. I put a brand new battery (Diehard Platinum) in it and pulled the IP fuse and disconnected the negative to try and reset something. I also switched the 4 wheel drive in and out several times and it works fine. I also tried wiggling the throttle body wires but that doesn't make the gauges come back to life. I am lost on this one. Somebody please help because I am totally stumped. If there is a Hummer tech in the Dallas/Fort Worth area I will pay them to figure this out. Thanks for any help on this issue.

Did you have any code associated with it?
I am not talking about what appears on the DIC, but actually reading the OBD codes.

Also, not sure about the other items, but the gauges could be the the H2 gremlin for the stepper motors in the dash.

It did show a 0220 code but since I cleared it, it has not returned.

I contacted US Speedo and they didn't seem to think it was a cluster issue. I guess because all the gauges are not working at the same time except the Speedo and tachometer always work.
