I was playing with the power fold-in mirrors yesterday and ran into a problem. When the right/left selector is set in the middle and I touch the adjustment button, only the driverside mirror folds in. Both mirrors worked (folded) about 1 week ago. Also, both mirrors work with all of the other functions. Why wouldnt the passenger side mirror fold? Any ideas? Should I tie a string to it and just pull it in manually

Thanks!

Fold the R/H mirror in all the way by hand, Then try cycling from the switch on the drivers door again. Sometimes there's an indexing problem. I think this is mentioned in the owners manual.

But I had the same problem and the dealer switched out the R/H mirror. I don't know whether that was necessary or they just didn't want to fool with trying to fix it.

Mike,
I had the same problem with my passenger side mirror. The dealer just replaced it on Wednesday. Talking with my service advisor, they have replaced a few mirrors due to the motor burning out. Take it to the dealer and have it checked and replaced if necessary.

Me also too, except it was the drivers mirror. Replaced and on my happy way.

We are now starting to see a # of mirrors fail, and the sad part, about 1/2 hardly use the fold in feature..
