Default Questions about Transfer Case

Does the TC have any clutches inside? I need to know this because I am wanting to use Synthetic ATF in it and need to know if the ATF needs to have Friction Modifiers in it or not. THX...

Not holding it together, that's the drive "band." Cost cutting, less noise, more flexibility....
