You'll still catch them on things and crumple them up. Take them off and buy some u-steps. Those bars are for sissies.

Actually, you should just put on those beefed up rockrails...there's enough of a lip, that you wouldn't even need steps...

Thanks guys, like I said, not an overly big difference, that was until I met up with my buddy who just bought a Yellow H2 tonight. I pulled up next to him and could immediately tell how much closer to the body they were.
Tim, that was the fabtech... fit perfectly.
Drtyfn, don't be jealous, if ya had a lift, you too wouldn't have to worry about draggin' parts.

I just bought my first H2 last week and was telling the wife tonight how I didn't like side bars so low. Your's now look like they should from the factory! Thanks for the next mod and the best part, it won't cost anything but time. I know you said you have a Fabtech lift, how high and what size tires? It look good, nice work!

Yeah, what Phil said.
It looks better, but <STRIKE>would</STRIKE>will look even better with some simple tube steps

I think I am going to do this to mine. This is a good idea as they are too low. I really want the Amp power steps, but have to wait until I get caught up on bills first.

Well I got mine done today. It looks so much better and even the wife likes it too. I have the chrome steps on mine so with them low it looked bad. Looks sooooooooooo much better and you can still use them with no problems! Thanks for the idea for this mod without any cost but time.

Though I don't have a side by side pic, you can get an idea of how much difference it makes.
Before
After
Good job Nsane...
