Right now there is only 1 company that has a programer for 2005 H2. Hummer totally redesigned the software in 05 and all older model programers can fry something or fry programer if You use it. Hypertech told Me that and so did Dean of Enhanced Performance Products the designer and programer of My Proflash. Competion Cams in Memphis TN. bought out EPP programer as they wanted in the business fast and Dean said they told Him the quickest way was to buy thier product and all rights to it, so He said they made an offer We could not refuse. Hypertech told me it will be after first of the year for thiers. I have my Proflash installed and works great on my 05 H2. EPP is in Arkansas and I will call Dean and see how You guys can get your hands on the new 05 programer. Dean and his right hand man designed the Proflash years ago. Dean flashed My H2 to see if software was same as past models and it is not the same at all. This was first of June 04 and He had reprogramed the new one by Oct. 04. He will be able to help get us to the right people to get one. Maybe able to 1411 Memphis and get a number but I know Dean has it as He got mine for me for helping out. Totally accident on my part just happen to pick My baby up 5/28/04 and on the next monday walked into the shop to see if they had a programer and the ball started rolling from there. I got My programer on 11/16/04 sent from Memphis. It will give the H2 a kick in the pants. I will try and get a contact as soon as i can.

I never ever trust a jegs saleman. I call the actual company before ordering there. Few know anything and the others knoe jack ****. If you want a meter or a floor jack, order from them as I do but not for anything serious.
I was at SEMA and the Predator will not be out just yet. I think it is worth the wait for the 05 but I am partial to Predator. I have a number of people who want them and are disappointed for the wait.
The 05 is different as mentioned in this post.

Guys I have been in contact with the programmer manufactuer that I got mine from and they are ready to sell for the H2 2005 model.
Knowing the man that developed this (not knew owners) I'm sure of quality, not saying there will not be a bum one sometime. The man had these for 05 H2 programmed before He sold this part of company if I understood right. The guy initially made his name around here on Vettes and diesels. Now He has cold airintakes and throttle body spacers does all his own CNC etc. in the little factory out back of offices. I have all 3 and they have definetly given the 6.0L a kick in the pants.
The name of programmer is:
Fast Flash Handheld Programmer
1-901-260-FAST(3278) Memphis, TN
Dean the old owner has recommended every person that I have let do performance work on My baby, not much work but it is going the way i want it and each one have been great and professional. I'm just waiting on Service manager to work out something for the extended warranty on supercharger. But the products that Dean has advised Me to go with I'm not sure if i will do supercharger. With getting quite a bit of improvement that I have, I may end up with headers being all I need to finish up. He has recommend a local shop for doing the headers so I hope to have them on before Christmas, they build them.
I'm going over tuesday to pay for mine to be built. He coached me on how to set program tuner to start and directed Me on how to play around till I find what i like. I did not find out till I got into lengthy discussion that He had been doing all the aftermarket perf. sales and sometime install for the H2 dealer where I got My H2. I'm thinking now to stay with what i got and go with nitrous for when i may want that extra jolt. I'm trying to configure a spot under hood where it could in 1 unit make it removalable for trips to shop. Will take alot of thinking and advice but there is another perf. center that specialise's in that so maybe they will figure it out. If anyone has looked at this idea or already done something like it please let Me know.
Hope You get Your programmer and it works out great for all.
Rick

Every body has thier prefernce but I have run Hypetech since 1999 and they have a good product. The Fast flash Handheld by Comp Cans out of memphis has much more flexbility in My opion since i have run both. I would recommend You do web search on Comp Cams and get phone # to visit with them about the fast flash.
Advice from a guy who has run both.

Yes, I know this is an older post, but I wanted to follow up with those that are running either of the programmers.
So what's the skinny?
Hypertech or Proflash? Which one is cheaper and does one differ from the other?
I know the hypertech recals your computer for change in tire size, but does the proflash?
I have used Hypertech in the last three trucks I have owned, but considering the proflash.
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks.

I think the proflash is less expensive. They do about the same type download. Proflash has 1 more setting on it to give it a little more tuning. Both adjust for tire size. I Have hypertech in 99 siverado but I like the Proflash better in the H2.

I had a HTPP III for my 2002 Tahoe but ordered a DiabloSport Predator for my 2005 H2. The Diablo has the ability to read/clear codes and has a little more options than the HyperTech.
