I am going to replace my stock shocks with anything better. Off-road as well as on.

Recommendations and why?

I went with Bilsteins, a bit stiffer ride on street but good offroad. i've also heard the rancho 9000s are pretty good, adjustable for whatever you're doing.

I know that Rod Hall offers shocks through Hummer and they have a seperate oil resevoir maybe something to look into

Do a search on Rancho's...there are many of us who have switched to them with good results.

Go with the Ranchos, they work great!!! I also added a Rancho RS5000 steering stabilizer, it works great!
