clydecpa is off the scale

I ordered at the dealer last week a H3, lux/offroad, XM, manual, side curtain airbags, etc.

Due to a financing package I have that will expire 8/28/05, I need to know what the new VIN# will be in order to complete the financing, even though the vehicle won't be here yet (I assume). Is it likely I will have a VIN# and build date assigned in the next couple of weeks?

TIA

H3 Builder is an unknown quantity at this point

Not sure. It normally takes 2 weeks to get the order to the plant. The way the orders are running, it could take 2 more weeks to get it built.

I don't care how long it takes to build it, I just need a vin#, and assume it gets assigned very early in the process. Is that correct?

You wont have VIN until it's built...I think...

I know the Vin# is installed in the trim shop. I don't know if it is assigned before it's built or not.
