Well I finally went and did it. I went and bought me a Jeep. I got a Green(of course!) Unlimited Sport, and am really enjoying it so far.
It's kind of primitive, but enjoy the ride so far.
I think I can justify making mods on the Jeep easier than on the H2, and doubling my gas mileage doesn't hurt either. I've got lots of plans for the Little green guy, but for now I've still got the big daddy H2.
I don't think I'll ever enjoy another vehicle as much as I do my H2, and I know I'll never get tired of the oohs and awes I still get, but a guys gotta do what he's gotta do!

don't feel bad about tring to be a little more economical. I have been driving my daughters old `98 Cavilier... its beat. I went to work in it Tuesday for the fisrt time, when I went to down shift to get off the highway it changed lanes on its own. after work I stopped and talked to my buddys at the chevy dealer I used to work at, and they said it was the control arm bushings, so by 7:00 pm tuesday evening it had NEW control arm bushings. I had suspected something was bad becasue it had pulled to the left while braking for a while. I had no idea they were gone.
Ps, I like the Unlimiteds, but the long wheel base will make it turn wider and I don't think it has enough power. you may need to add a turbo or a super charger to get some acceleration out of it

Congrats!
I hope you have better luck with your Jeep than I had with my 87 wrangler I had in college.

Y'all don't fret...I'll be back with another H2 soon. I cannot live without one for long. It's in the blood!
Not gone, just temporarily set back!

I'll try not to flip you off if I pass you on the road, Ric.
I assume the first task on hand is Tim's (ahem...Phil's) Rock. So any bets on how long it will be before you break THIS one?

Can't wait to see the pic of it in the Den Ric.
Moon, Yetti crashes Jeeps for a living. I'm guessing he's saying he couldn't get it up to speed fast enough to crash it good enough.

Wouser = gogo gadget. I'll have to remember that.
I guess you guys use Chingado there alot. We don't have as many Mexicans here. Especially ones that can hear over the lawn mower.
