It might be easier to make a photo album you could set it up than list once

First, set the compressor on the fuse box to get an idea where to mount it. then pull the fuse box cover, set the compressor on the lid and mark the holes to be drilled.
drill three 1/4" holes.(see pics below for reference).
Note that only three mounting points are being used due to fuse location.

Notice the inner and outter front washers, cut and filed. use some clear silicone on the inner and outter washers to keep water out of the fuse box.

When moving the mounting brackets on the compressor I rotated the housing/cover so that the side that has no vent's faces down. I also adjusted the air guage so that it faces up.
It's a pretty tight fit but is the best place to mount the compressor. And yes, I do reattach the battery box vent tube!

Hard wiring.
I did'nt remove the battery post nut's, I added a 1/4" nut on top of the existing nut.
make sure you leave enough wire so when you remove the fuse box cover you have a little room for play.

First of... awesome job so far!

ok here comes the questions...

1. edited... saw your updated pics... LOL

2. briefly explain how this will work. will it be manual as in, when you are ready to air up, you pop the hood, turn on the compressor, hook up the airhoses and pump away?

thanks

quick question again... does this model compressor originally come with a cigarette lighter attachment?

I will run a 3/4" air hose 6 1/2' long (p/u from a local hose and fitting outfitter) from the compressor down under and along the inner frame rail to the center of my H3(easier access for airing up all four tires).

The Master Flow air compressor does not have a cigarett lighter attachment, nor can you add one. you can use the alligator clips that come w/ it or, hard wire the unit.
