Default Check out new colors and help with next move

So I got the machined rockstars , and was thinking I needed more to match the wheels.

I painted the front bumper and h2 on skid plate GM silver. I plan to do the rear bumper as well.

The grille will be painted blue to match the truck.

Need to know opinions on what I should I should do with the roof racks:

Paint the roof racks silver

Leave them black

Take them off ( I never use them, and it'd make cleaning so much easier)

I would leave the roof racks on. I think the 2's look terrible without something on the roof. I had mine off for not even a day while I was installing my Gobi and I couldn't stand the look of it!

LOL...I'm the complete opposite...I had mine off for years and absolutely loved the look. I just got tired of not being able to haul something without stopping to put the rails on first, so I went with the Gobi rack and like it even better.

I've got four OEM brushed crossbars if you're interested.

You think making the silver would be too much?

I never hall anything on the top, I have a trailer for hauling. Just never needed them a side for the looks.

Given your rims and the fact that you did your front bumper in silver, I think your truck would look better with the brushed cross bars. Someone on here will definitely buy your black ones if you decide to sell.

If I keep em I'll paint them with the same paint I used on the bumper.

Thanks for your input.

Keep it coming guys.

Just started the back bumper tonight.

Am I going silver crazy or would it look good with all the black pieces painted silver?

The silver looks like machined metal. In stead of chrome, or in my case black, it would be blue and machined.

Silver accents would either be super cool or super fool ! I think it would look really nice personally If done correctly. I think you would be thinking outside the box of most Hummer owners. Most everyone says black is the right way but I like to "CUSTOMIZE" my truck.

Leave the racks as is... I can't stand the look of an H2 w/ the rack bars off. I wouldn't paint it either...you have all the black trim up there.

Id color match the upper grill. Paint the hummer letters silver. Looks like you have chrome on your mirrors, silver that also.

Post some more all around shots...kinda limited for suggestions not seeing front to back.

I'll post some all around pics when the back bumper is back together.

I'm really torn about the top racks. They'd give the silver accent from a side view, which the front/rear bumpers don't do.

At the same time it might be too much.

They're powder coated so I hate to paint them if they aren't going to work out. On the flip side I never use them so I could always just paint them black again..... not having to worry about the durability of the surface coat.

I think the black roof racks are fine. They match the side steps, side and hood vents, etc... I also like the look of three, I just added and painted with bed liner a third one myself. I think the H2 should have come from the factory with three racks. It's big and long enough. The two just don't seem to give it a as mean and bulky look...

It's done.... check it out here: http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=42966

I still need to get rid of the chrome HUMMER letters on rear bumper, and get a gas tank filler cover.

Guruerror you're cracking me up....
