Default What is the turning radius of an H1??

Debating about trading my SUT in for an H1 living in the city presents the parking garage scenario. Right now my SUT clears the concrete colum in my garage by about 10 to 11 inches with the addition 2" on each side with the H1 I'm thinking I would be cutting close depending on the turning radius. Any info would be appreciated!

Over the years the numbers have changes quite a bit. The consensus seems to be 25.5-28ft. FWIW, I have spent alot of time in down town Milwaukee with my H1's and have never had problems. Sometimes you do need to concerntrate more because of a tight spot, but like I said never had a problem.

Turning radius is not much of an issue. However, you will need to consider that the mirrors on the H1 are rather large and do not have a power fold option. Mine stick out nearly 10 inches on either side when fully extended, so I have to hop out and manually fold them in to pull into my home garage.

The turning radius of the H2 is between 21-22 feet for comparison.

I never knew that about H1s, that's stunning. To be able to turn an H1 around in twenty feet less than an FJ cruiser! WOW! I don't think you could turn an H2, or an H3 even, around in 22'. Hell, the H3 takes 37' to turn around in. It must look wierd to see an H1 pull a u-turn. The tires must literally fold over sideways. Badass.

I these numbers are radii. That's only half the distance it takes to make a full turn around. So double them for the turning circle or diameter. The H1 turns wide...
