Help Please... Would like to work on my H2 Rig
I would like to do some work on my H2 Rig, I'm replacing the turn signals, reverse lights, and brake lights with brighter LED bulbs... But I suck at taking off factory interior panels... Can someone show me a on line picture of how to take off the factory tail lights...

open your tailgate, remove the screws you see, pull hard.
Here's a pic I took with my cam phone.

Just did this myself...at least on the back lights...still waiting for the LED's to come in for the front.
Rear light housing is very easy to remove...2 screws on the rear cargo area on the housing, then pull lightly inward. The housing has 2 clips that hold it in place on the rear fender. Once it's off, just twist each light socket off.

I just ordered the hyper amber LED's for my DRL's. I have the amber in them now and like it, LED's should look a lot better.

I really like the interior bulbs, where did you get them and how much? Thanks...Jamie
Also, did you replace the interior over-head console round lights? If so, how did you remove them?

Re: Help Please... Would like to work on my H2 Rig
Go to superbrightleds.com. They have all kinds of LED's. The interior lights are #194. The LED replacement is WLED-WHP at $4.95ea.
Here is the link.... http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...gi?product=CAR
Did not replace the overhead console lights yet. I removed the lens but could not get at the bulb. It was late and figured I'd check it out when I get the rest of the interior bulbs in.

Thanks alot. I'm not sure if you have seen the interior lights in the new caddys, but this is pretty similar. They are very bright, and not that yellow tinted bright either.

Re: Help Please... Would like to work on my H2 Rig
Be careful with the LED turn signal lamps....at least the ones that are on the WEB site I stated above. I plugged one in on the rear and my turn signals started flashing real fast. I then put another one on the front and it blew the turn signal and parking lamp fuse. At least on the Hummer, I think you'll have to add the load resistor shown on that site. The regular incandescent bulbs are brighter so at least for the turn signals, I'll stick to the originals.

I'm just doing the inside lights to get away from the "dingy" yellow
