Brake lights no worky
So I bought a trailer yesterday and bought the 7-4 adapter for the trailer lights and noticed that my brake lights weren't coming on
All the lights work great, turn signals work fine trailer and all, but not the brake lights, I can actually Hear a clicking sound underneath the shifter or "cup holders" when I hit the brakes... like a funny... "CLICK!" and the brakes dont come on...
Has this happended to anyone????
Doesn't sound like a fuse... I dunno.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Brake lights no worky
FYI... The Brake lights dont work on the Hummer, forget the trailer..... The Hummer brakelights are not coming on...
Thanks for helping out Eric.
I'm going to check the wiring on the trailer but now even with the trailer unplugged the brake lights dont work on the truck at all.
Thanks!

Re: Brake lights no worky
I checked both fuses, in the cab and under the hood. Both were good and now I'm lost. I'm trying to see if RoushDemon figured it out because he has or had the same problem. Thanks tho CBR.

Re: Brake lights no worky
I found my culprit and it was a broken wire from my aftermarket alarm that was soldered to the brake lamp switch under the dash. I think had it not have been a broken solder it would have definitely been the brake lamp switch. Thanks guys for all the help.
