Default H3 Visibility for short drivers???

I'm researching my next vehicle and the H3 is definitely the front runner however I've read other threads/reviews about the poor visibility and how the seats are close to the floor which consequently could make it very difficult for a shorter driver to see clearly.

I'd like to get others opinions before I go to the dealer, test drive one and have to listen to a sales pitch.

I'm 5'1 on a good day and have always owned trucks/jeeps etc and have not had a problem however, i'd prefer not to sit on a soap box just to see out my windows! Any info would be appreciated!

My wife is 5 ft and had no problems with the visibility in her old H3 she owned for two years. My recommendation is to test drive one and find out how you like it, but I don't think it's going to be a big deal.

I dont think it will be a problem. The H3's visibility isnt the greatest but its not a difference based upon your personal height its just the way the vehicles windows are. I am 5"6 so im not the tallest of guys and have had two H3's my first had the cloth so my seat was not adjustable up or down, i sat as low as possible and was able to see fine, and infact now that my new one has the automatic seat i still sit as low as possible. I think she will be fine. As always test drive it first to make sure though. but with the automatic seat shell be able to be high enough for sure.

Keep in mind if you get a 2008 or later model year the driver seat will always be automatic (adjustable up and down) regardless of cloth or leather. HOWEVER if you get a 2006 or 2007 model year the cloth seats will not be automatic or adjustable up and down. so to get the automatic up and down adjustable seat in a 2006 or 2007 you need to have the leather interior
