Talking Avic D-1 Custom BacKground

Does anyone know how to make custom backgrounds for the Pioneer Avic-D1 when using a mac. I have seen several websites that explain the software to be used but they are all for PC's.
Thanks!!!!

Not sure but I would like to know too. Have you checked out Avic411.com? If you haven't, you should check it out, all kinds of great info over there.

Hmm.. I didn't know it was complicated. Here is mine...

Download this image and edit it with photoshop... just use it as a guideline for the res/etc. Then burn to a cd, with the file in a directory labeled BG. Should work...

I didn't make that image btw - it was someone else that posted them on this forum. thanks!

I just read the tutorial on avic411... the d1 doesn't have the feature where you can just load custom backgrounds from a cdr like the n2?

If it doesnt.... just use virtual pc - the program that got the most use out of all the apps on my powerbook.
