Exclamation Project Validation from 2005+ H2 Owners

Ok you Hummer lovers so here it is, I just finished installing rear bumper lights on my 03 and since I do not know what the normal function of the lights are, I need verification that they are working as they should because its a little different than what I expected.

When driving during the day (without out headlights being on) the bumper lights act as an additional stop light and turn signal.

When driving at night (headlights switched on) the bumper lights act as additional driving lights but when the signal light is activated they do not blink and when I apply the brakes they do not brighten.

Are they working properly?
Thanks for your responses in advance

No, not working properly.

I just took my '07 bumper lights apart last week to replace the bulbs and found one of the plastic light housings full of water, this also led to some corrosion on the connector. Seems like somebody was playing in some deep water.........anyway, I digress.
The bumper lights are standard parking lights, on when the parking or headlights are on. Turn signals bright when blinker is on, and brake lights bright when you're on the brake. This is regardless of day or night, full moon or no moon.
As additional input, I always lube up my electrical sockets with bulb grease, or electrical silicone of some kind to prevent electrical gremlins with moisture. I'd recommend lubing up your light sockets, especially on these bumper lights, which are the lowest electrical point on the vehicle.
Good luck, woulda been nice if you could have discovered a harness that adapts these lights to the rest of the truck. If I remember, I'll see if those bumper brake lights have something that plugs into the rest of the harness, or if the wires are intergral to the existing harness.

Ok thanks, Not sure which wire(s) I should use then. This set up was recommended in another thread. I tapped into the existing rear hitch harness and the wires are BRN for the Parking lights, Lite GRN for the back up lights, Dark GRN for the RT Turn signal, Yellow for the LT turn signal, Dark BLU for the electrical brakes, RED for battery and Black for ground. The connections I used utilizes the Dark Green and yellow wires for the turn signals and brake lights (which work when head lights are OFF) and the Brown wire for the running lights (when the headlights are ON).
