Hello,

Does anyone know where I can get the magnetic side panels to protect the paint from "pinstripping" while off-roading?

Thanks,

Tom

Or you can go to someone who does those magnetic signs in your local town. They come in large sheets and can be cut to fit your H2 or H1. You can also add to the areas that the SMA don't cover. It's easy. Just take some newsprint or poster board and trace on the vehicle and cut and paste the pieces together to make a "pattern". This will make a template that can be placed on top of the magnetic sheets to be cut.

Looked into this with a buddy of mine (who does sign work) and it was much cheaper to have him get the color to match my H2 and also save on the shipping. If you want they can also custom print on them but that will cost you extra.

I also saw them in the Hummer Accessories catalog. They have the magnetic sheets, and a clear vinyl one that "sticks" on like kids colorforms...

Hummergirl,

That sounds like a great idea. I'll check into it.

Thanks!

Tom
