Thumbs up Changed out my horn....

I swapped out my horn yesterday for a 21.99 air horn that I bought at JC. Whitney they fit right behind the grill and sound decent. It isn't a real deep sound but is 5x better than what came with the h3.... The bolt that came with my kit fits perfectly where the old horn was mounted. I did have to cut the OLD horn's screw off so I could get it out.

there is a link you guys want it, let me know if you have any questions.

I'll take come pictures today when I get home.

I got the same one .I left the original horn on the wheel and put a switch(radio shack) on the dash in the factory spot.
pics of install were put up a 6 months or so ago.

I bet if you added a second compressor hooked them up seperatly to each horn it would be louder and deeper.

It is much louder than factory horn.My wife like it (she,s horny )Other option is full size commpressor with a air tank and a few hundred dollars.

I have A under the hood mounted compresor already I think a tank can be mounted along the frame in the back ,I dont think anyone here has done that install.

I like the integrated button! Are you sure it didn't come stock like that? Nice work!

I think it was $2.99 for 2 at radio shack ,1 was red .They also have a smaller button someone else used.Ithought that one matched the factory lighter better.

Link to my install. http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/s...hlight=airhorn Pics are big it was before I was told how to make them smaller.
