I've decided to get the "H-Cam" camera and the Vizualogic overhead display. I'm combining the 2 units, because I like the H-Cam (instead of the Hitch Cam), and I like Vizualogic's display (instead of the display screen that comes with the H-Cam).

I'll post pics when it's completed...but here are pics of the camera location & display.

I was thinking about doing the same, since I like the HCAM and the Vizualogic. But then I found the Savv 5" Security Rear View Mirror Monitor. I can run my NAV through it also, so now I can have the radio, cd or dvd on and the NAV at the same time.

That's a cool set-up too.

I took a look at that for myself, but thought the mirror was too big for me. (personal preference)

I wish Vizualogic made a bigger monitor for the same location. 3" is good for reverse cam but not big enough for NAV

Yeah...that would be hard to read in Navi mode. Expecially since the rear view mirrors in our H2's are further away from the driver compared to other vehicles.

MMPH2..I love the monitor install! Is that custom or is it available like that? I have the HitchCam and was wondering if the monitor would be plug and play with it. I would appreciate any info.

Yes...you would be able to "plug and play" with the new monitor. The "H-Cam" that I'm getting is made by the same people who make "Hitch-Cam". The only thing about having a different display, you'll have to have your local installer "mickey mouse" the system to have the display turn on when the H2 is put into reverse. (My local installer told me this...he thinks they'll be able to do this)

Anyway, the display screen is available here: www.vizualogic.com

You can't buy the display from their site, you need to get it from your local car electronic dealer.

Cool, Looks good. I have the Vizualogic overhead display on order, there's a 2-3 week backlog. I'm going with a camera mounted under the hitch. I'll also have my DVD out put routed to the little screen. For while I'm parked of course.
