Default DTC 2138 OBDII code

I got a notification on the DIC regarding failure on my StabiliTrak System and it flashed reduced power. I turned the H3 off and turn it back on. This time the message is not displayed on the DIC, however the engine light was on. I have an OBDII code reader and it threw the code 2138. I searched this here and saw that it was a bulletin regarding reduced power. I dunno what it means. I erased the code but does this warrant a visit to a dealer for a diagnostic?

Any help would be much appreciated.

yes dude i got exactly the same issue that you've got and went to the dealer they had to change an elecrtical button under the gas pedal as they mentione because the engine light came from that and it was effecting the stabily track (computer things) and after the fix it worked fine with me.

The code P2138 is "Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor 1-2 Correlation", which i guess means that the pedal position sensor does not match some other sensor. I think that is the same as just 2138 since there isnt one like that. I've heard of this happening to someone else as well, just required the pedal to be swithced out.

Donno if its an urgent dealer thing, but i would take it as soon as you have free time, might cause stabilitrak or TC or abs to malfunction.
