Default GOBI on the Alpha

Here are a few pics of the GOBI Stealth rack I'm installing on my H1.

Here's the massive BOX it came in. The rack came as one piece pre-wired for 8 lights on the front and 4 lights on the rear. The other box is the crossbars, nuts/bolts, and lights.

I have to say that Gobi rack is extremely sturdy and very well put together. I was very impressed with it.

You could take the tires and axles off the trailer and just sit it on top. But it really does look good. Now you need a ladder.

I have the ladders, but if I put them on then I can't get the doors to stay open. I haven't decided if I should keep the ladders or not. I just need a way to get on top when I'm tying stuff down. I'll think of something.

On an Alpha, has the roof over the rear cargo area been beefed up to support more weight?

I know on non-Alphas it has been discussed not to load up your roof rack all the way on a wagon, especially the rear of the wagon.

So, I would just be careful on how much weight you put up on there, unless you know for sure that it's been reinforced better.

Nice rack, really makes your Alpha look that much sweeter.

Thank you.
