It strange the things we go through in life that touch us so deeply and at very unexpected moments... the things that money really can't buy if you will.

Hong came into the room tonight to tell me it was snowing. Hong has been here about 150 days since she left her home in south (equitorial) south China.

This was the first time she had ever seen snow. There was a layer about 2cm deep on the cars outside.

She went tearing through the closet, pulling out coats, boots, and other stuff to ask me if it was warm enough to wear.

It seems she was worried about the H2 and felt the need to go outside, cover it, and protect it from the snow.

I would tell you all how deeply touched I was, that at the time of her first exposure to snow her first thought was to protect the Hummer, but I'm not really sure I'm ready to go there.

Life is good.

Wow... what's next?

My aunt refused to sit on the crapper...only squat on it...I realized that after I saw the footprints on the toilet seat. Happy Thanksgiving!

Shpblder, what's your daughter's name mean?

DOCHUMMER don't sweat it!

1) Hong will take that comment as a high compliment
2) Makes me wonder what the people at the mall have been thinking... heh...
3) No "feet on the seat" --- I replaced all the toilets with NEW toilets the day before I left to go get her... so they are considered "known good"
4) Hong means "Red" ... sort of like "Scarlett" in english

I can't wait to see everybody again too!!

Charles, I like the way you tape your truck. You've got it all covered, huh?

I call that "Quickie Tape"

Those are the spots that:

1) snag the branches....
2) people notice...

I just console myself by saying that no one will ever mistake it for a pussyfied mall queen!
