Hello everyone. I'm a new member/owner. Just purchased my 06 H3 on Saturday 03-17-06. I have about 150 miles on it so far. I am "DIGGIN" it in a big way. I've ordered a few accessiores for it, and should have them this week. I can't believe all the aftermarket items out there for the H3. It's unreal. Most of the stuff I wouldn't personally buy, but there a few things as I said.......I did pick up. Just a few chrome pieces. Usually the first thing I do when I buy a new vehicle (within the first week) is to change out the wheels. Mainly because the stock wheels always suck. I did a lot of research on the forums here and also looked at some pics. I've decided that I really like the stock rims that are on the H3, along with the off-road tires. This is truly a first for me. I've never kept stock on....LOL. I do however wish that they were chrome. So..... I'm going to have the stock rims refinished in chrome, and should have them on the H3 by next week. I'll post pics soon. Other than that, I just wanted to introduce myself, and say that I look forward to this site, and all it has to offer. What a fantastic, fun, and truly unique vehicle.
Peace
Mark

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your purchase.
I'll be in your area in a few weeks. Staying off 70 out near the track.

Congrats and welcome!
I've seen some pics of the adventure wheels after being chromed. They actually look pretty good.

Welcome and Congrats!
Ken is right, watch out for Big Nasty in a few weeks.
Nice to see another Kansas boy on here. Grew up in OP myself.

Thanks for the welcomes so far...
Ok......so no driveway shots...LOL. I'll find someplace to take them. Not sure what Queen shots are, but I'll avoid them if I can. KenP....I'm about 10 minutes from the track. Shoot me an e-mail before you come out, and maybe we can meet to check out each others H3. If there are any other Kansas owners on here.......send me a shout. We can start up a monthly meet.
On a side note.......the Monsoon system is amazing. I'm a car audio freak, and it is hands down the best stock system I've ever heard. Better than the Bose in the H2's IMO. I will more than likely just leave it as is. Just in case anyone is wondering what I traded in for the Hummer....it was a Mazda 6. Yeah....quite a switch....Haaaa Haaaa. I was really missing my SUV. After taking several vehicles out for test drives.......I was SOLD immediately on the Hummer. Here in Kansas....you really do NOT see very many at all. I've seen just 1 in the past 4 months.
Again.....thanks for the welcomes....it's appreciated.
BTW....what is the Big Nasty?

ROFL
Innocent mistake. Big Nasty is no H3, but damn, does it rock! p.s - Don't forget to ask Ken how he got so lucky as to drive CP's truck!
I just noticed you've got a Birch White Adventure! I love mine. Congrats again!

I am surprised you are not seeing a lot of them around there. Last time I was up there (6 months ago) I saw several H3s and a lot of H2s. BTW, HoKC on here is the inventory manager at Hummer of KC, real nice guy.

Thanks for clearing up the Big Nasty for me Westhillsat........LOL. Makes a lot more sense now. I will have pics up very soon. Just waiting on a couple of accessories, but more than anything......a nice day to do it. Not sure where I'll take the pictures at, but I usually take them in some sort of scenic setting. I'll find a place. My co-workers have gone nuts this week, and everyday, more and more of them are asking for a ride...Haaaa Haaaa. In my mind......I'm saying......"Go Buy Your Own". While I was looking into the Hummer H3, I really took a hard look at all the colors they had to offer. On the net, and also in the brochures, most of the colors are "off" from what you see in person. I never thought I would go with a white vehicle in my LIFE.....but out of all the colors (for me anyway)...the Birch White seemed to be very striking with the shape, lines, and overall look of this vehicle. I couldn't break away from it. It came down to black or white, and I'm very glad I went with white. It's awesome. I believe it works because it contrasts with the black cladding that is on the vehicle. It all just kinda comes together and POPS! Just my thought on the subject. Thanks again for all the hello's and welcomes. It's nice to be here.
Mark
