Window Tinting Question
Can you tint over already tinted windows? I had my windows tinted about 3months ago and would really like to go a little darker. Can you do that?

Re: Window Tinting Question
I would say NO
Easy enough for them to remove old tint and replace with 20% ,it matches the back factory tint almost perfectly.
I beleve the fronts are at 70% + or - factory and the backs are 15 to 20% + or - as best I remember ,Check its listed on the glass

Re: Window Tinting Question
20% should do it.
Some states give tickets,I havent got one in 4 years with the H3,but I know someone who get snagged within the first week
In this pic they all look the same.
(I couldnt find a side close up quickly with the windows up)

Re: Window Tinting Question
Just got my windows tinited to 20%... looks like a completely different vehicle, and matches the back windows perfectly!! I used to tint windows before i got in the military 7 years ago... you def CAN NOT! Tint over tint... it will give a false tint, eventually peal away because the window seal will catch it and it will bubble over time! I would recommend doing it the right way and getting it re-done, or you'll regret it acouple months or years down the road!
