I’m not sure what you mean by deadline? If your not going to purchase one from the dealers stock it usually takes 6-8 weeks for delivery. Unless there is something I don’t know I don’t think they are stopping production for any reason.

The deadline was yesterday.
I guess you're screwed.
Seriously though, they won't be halting production on these for a while...as it is not even 2006 yet.
I'm not sure what you are waiting for, but get that order in now! There's nothing to ponder over!

If you wait to long to order an '06, you will just get an '07. Do you have to get an '06 for some reason?

Depending on what date that the model change will be, it's usually around the end of April to the middle of May. The dealer should know what the cutoff will be just before then.

just holding out for maybe some rebates on top of my gm buyer discount. maybe the cost of gas will slow down sales on suv's. and gm will offer a rebate

According to my dealer, the new "rebate and incentives" period started 9/7. Unfortunately, nothing for the H3.

With what I have heard of the sales for the H3, that might not happen, but I do say "might." Never know...
