I noticed in the TV ad the H3 has the clearance lights. All other picks do not show them...does this mean it will be an option....I was worried that the h3 would not have them. Thanks

The H3 has as an option either the Roof Mounted Off Road Lights or Roof Mounted Marker Lights. I will find some pictures of both and post them.

I like the look of the marker lights, but have concerns of leaking like my 03H2 did and my 05 SUT. It looks like there is a plastic cover that will just bolt on to existing mounts, but not sure how that will work. they still have to get the wires in somehow. The nice thing is you can always add this stuff later since it its a dealer installed option.

I've been going back and forth between the Off-road light, and the marker lights. I think I am going to go with the off-road light since they have a function. Unless somebody can tell me what the marker lights do...other than looking cool.

Will there be any option for this type of Off-Road light like the H2 ones?

If I were to be buying the truck I would get the marker lights because it just gives hummer character. It is also cool to see a hummer from real far away at night. I would also wait for someone (predator, rubberduck, etc.) to make a light bar for the H3 and put that on for the off road lights.

These lights can be added at any time after getting the truck?

Will a Gobi rack still work if you get these lights?

The off-road lights remind me of the Liberty's lights encased in all that plastic. Yukk. IMHO.

They're small and probably not adjustable.

time will tell. You could always put the 4" brackets on, but we'll have to see how far up they stick. On the other hand, I would rather have my lights in the Gobi rack becasue you won't have to drill holes. It's probably cheaper too. I'm guessing those plastic inserts you see in the pic above are to cover the screw heads.

I like the idea of putting the lights in the rack. Any idea how Gobi would do that and get power to them? Will they do it? How would I find out?
