Car show scene

Well, the BRUTE entered another car show this weekend and although it was an open class they picked the top 40 cars of 116 entered and BRUTE picked up another award..Surprising though, since a lot of the vehicles were frame off classic restorations..Another one this coming weekend..We'll see how BRUTE does..This is a corvette and GM show.. I'm definitely not entered in the Corvette section...BRUTE:beerchug:

It started out a beautiful S Florida day and then it started raining. Then it stopped. So I wiped the BRUTE off (about an hour) Then it started raining again and I wiped it off again. Then it stopped raining for a while then it drizzled the rest of the afternoon and I said the heck with it.. Since this was my first classic and open car show, most of the cars were owned by folks who grew up in the 50's, so no babes, except for those who brought their spouses..A very different type of show from the ones the kids have..Love the younger generation but hate the loud air horns and vibrating sound systems..They at least gave out trophies as opposed to plaques from this show..This coming weekend's show as mentioned earlier is a Corvette and GM car show, so I'm thinking maybe it will draw a different bunch of car nuts..Stay tuned..BRUTE ps I did armoral the tires. It helps judging the overall look of the vehicle..

I hate to say this, but again there were no hotties walking around wanting to pose with the BRUTE in this show..I will definitely have to break down and do another what I call a kids show which includes hotties, itsy bitsy cars with loud mufflers, incredible bass sound systems and air horns up the whazoo..The show yesterday had lots of really neat GM cars and trucks, about 140 or so vettes and oldies music. No air horns or blaring bass sound systems or I forgot to mention rap..Not that I dislike any of this in very small doses, but at a kids car show that's all you hear..Guess I'm showing my age. I thought with the trucks entered, I would get creamed, but the BRUTE managed to pull it off again and win BEST OF SHOW, GM TRUCKS..I took a break and went to get something to eat and evidently that's when they came and judged my vehicle. I was a little upset, not being able to talk with them, but afterwards when I stood in front of my H2 I realized it didn't need me to do anything. It could stand on it's own and did. What a statement it makes..Not that I am telling you anything you don't already know..So there will be other shows and I definitely will be there..BRUTE
