This whole post has been a bit off-color. We are all aware of the tragedy that an accident can cause. I personally have lost a grandfather and a cousin to drunk drivers. Each in separate incidents, years and states apart.

This post isn't about drunk driving so lets not dwell on this and get sidetracked.

I'm willing to bet that WannabeH3 posted this when he was still a bit hopped up on adrenaline after the incident. Sarcasm can be a defense mechanism of this. Am I impressed by his post. Not a bit. Did HiHummer come to his defense after your post? Yes.

As for the Troll label. Well, you've got a few marks that say Troll all over them.

1. Super low post count
2. Initial posts accusatory and inflamatory
3. User Name very Jeep related
4. Jeep references in early posts.

I'm not saying you're a Troll, but frequently if it acts like a Troll, looks like a Troll, and posts like a Troll...

Well you get the idea.

Not a Troll? Cool. Welcome. Just saying its typically best to let a community get to know you first before you jump into the deep waters.

Oh, and before anyone has the idea that I've never jumped in deep, well, here is a post that I am none too proud of. At least I waited until I had about 20 posts in before I got pissed off.

Ipedog, thanks for the well thought out and written reply. I was really not trying to make anyone upset, and I was certainly not dissing the vehicle that everyone here loves.
About two years ago, I was in a convertible and a guy in a Ford truck blew a red light, I saw him out of the corner of my eye, and stopped as he whizzed by about one ft. in front of my bumper. He would have killed me for sure. So when I read this post this morning, and it seemed to be taken so lightly, it just set me off.

I can understand your points about trolls, and I am sure you get many here, and they can ruin a board. Do I own a Hummer, no, I do not, but I do like the H3, and this seemed to be a good board to get some good information from so I joined. Who knows I may end up with one someday, I have owned just about everything else already.
I belong to several boards, and clubs, and just enjoy talking about cars and trucks to people and this seemed liked a cool group. I am not a bad guy really you'll see, I'll be around.

Hihummer, hey it's cool. That was a record for me though called troll after only my 2nd post. I've had quite a first day here. OK I'm done, see you around.

Thanks for your reply. I don't have my H3 yet but I can see it on the horizon. This is a great forum full of well informed, good people who are typically open minded and fair.

I'll take your word that you're not a Troll. Sometimes people see somthing that really sets them off and can't help but react (For example, my post on the French and dogs). This last post of yours is a step in the right direction.
