Re: Squeaking Creaking Body / Frame Noise
Well after taking it to the dealer, and them doing whatever to the rear mount points, it is better... but I still notice something, which may be the cable thing you all are talking about.
The question is that I really haven't seen a detailed fix or solution to the problem...? Hell I don't even use my parking break, should I just remove the cable..?? or is there an easier more reasonable fix? |
Re: Squeaking Creaking Body / Frame Noise
Don't remove the parking brake cable, you will need it sooner or later . if you are up for a little witch hunt try spraying the cable with silicone spray the whole lenth of the cable and see if it stops . it could be the cable inside ,and not where it rubs the body or frame .if it is sealed than a new cable is the only solution and that should be covered under warentee.

Re: Squeaking Creaking Body / Frame Noise
thanks for everyones advise on this! All fixed! No more creaking. It just needed some spray on the brake cable and... I ended up sraying all aroung the bushings and whatever else would be near or touching the frame. All quiet now.. Yipppeeeeee:perfect10s:
