New BFG M/Ts. Anyone know when they'll be released?

1 Attachment(s)
They look like Krawlers but they are the new BFG M/Ts. I hear they're the new hotness in Off-roading.

Anyone know the scoop with these tires?

All BFG Krawler T/A KX tires are L speed rated. Do not use at speeds in excess of 75mph.

This would suck for commuting in California!;)

It looks like a Krawler but it's the new BFG M/Ts. I don't know the specs on em. All I care about is they look sessy.:D

Those are nice looking tires. Wonder what the speed rating/availability/cost will be?

I heard from my dealer they might come out in October for us in Canada.

Meaning you guys might get them sooner. :beerchug:

Looks like you better get some 22s first:

Has anyone ever seen them before though? They're BFG M/Ts, not Krawlers. Here's the larger view: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/BigPic.jsp?sidewall=Blackwall&tireMake=BFGoodrich& tireModel=Mud-Terrain+T%2FA+KM+DT

And why on earth would they only make them for 22s? http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....in+T%2FA+KM+DT

How did they hold up after that? ANy chunking or anything else negative to doing that. I am considering getting mine done instead of AT winter tires.

How did you hand sipe them?

Utility knife. took me about 30 minutes per tire. I cut in about 1/2" deep (About 80% of the lug.). I didn't like the machine siping because it made too many cuts and the possibility of chunking off during off-roading.

It was during the winter time and I was fish tailing in my M/Ts on the snow and ice covered streets. After I siped them, it was like I had on the A/Ts.

30-minutes per tire sounds pretty quick. Is this how you really did it?

That is excellent info. I love the MTs, but they were absolutely terrible in the snow.

sep 07 more biased towards 18" and up rims so better upgrade--lol still have 315/17s though and 37" on 17s

Anyone know the scoop with these tires?

I just found out that they're not available in a 35 and the 37x12.50x17's are $453/tire. No thanks. I'll stick with Toyo MT's and Iroks.

I have the BFG M/T in size 22"...i really like the look but they are a little loud on the streets. i've always wondered if they would be better if i had them siped.

I still don't think you can beat the Toyo Open Country M/T for the great all around tire it is :)

I run BFG MT's and have had no problem in heavy snow, infact they go through the stuff better than any previous tire I've had
