If anyone is on right now and knows anything about the H2 jack I would appreciate your input. A friend was headed to the airport about 4:30 this morning and something blew out his sidewall. Anyway, he had to get a cab to catch his flight and leave his H2 in a no so good area. I am headed down there to get it in about a 1/2 hour but don't know where the jack is. AAA is probably going to meet me there but where is the jack on the H2 and does an '05 Lux come with stock locking lug nuts? I know, kind of a silly question, but don't want to get there and have any surprises.

Jack should be in the back cargo area if it is a SUV and the wheel is in the back. Also if it is an SUT it is in a compartment in the back right hand side. (locked with a key). Personally I would bring a floor jack with me, and not use the factory one, but I am weird like that.

Should not have locking lugs unless the dealer/owner added them.

VT,

It is an SUV and figured I could find everything with ease but wanted to check to be sure. I do appreciate your help.

VTSTOMPER's right on. And second the floor jack.

Wait for AAA to change it.

Just use his Hi-Lift.

I think a stock jack is quicker on flat ground, plus Hi-Lift's are widow makers. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>I was just kidding because chances are he doesn't have a........ nevermind.

You beat me to it. I was gonna clown on the city boys. Not knowing the location and operation of your vehicle's jack is inexcusable.

HummerNewbie 01-19-2006 02:49 PM

Thanks for the input guys. AAA to the rescue with floor jack and impact wrench. That what the membership fees are for right

You guys are correct, no Hi-Lift (yet) and a friend has my floor jack

Oh, and this city boy didn't know the location of the vehicles jack because it isn't his vehicle

That is what I would have done but he had to catch a flight and didn't have time to wait. It was easier to just call AAA on the way rather than push the OnStar button when I got there and wait longer
