Need some info/help please
I have a 2006 H2 SUV for which I decided to take the rear tire carrier off and sell it and make the back look like the earlier models (the cleaner look). In t this, I had to replace the rear hatch license plate bracket. They are quite expensive as well. Anyway, the dealer informed me that since mine didn't come with it stock, that there was no connector for me to wire the tag lights up to the new rear hatch bracket. I did have the lighted tag bracket that fit into the rear wheel before I removed it. I stowed the wires under the truck. Can I possibly use that wire and if so, how would I run it into the rear hatch (being that it is under the truck)? Has anyone attempted this? Thanks in advance....Jamie

Re: Need some info/help please
Yes, it can be easily done . There are many other places where you can tap into the parking lights, so don't get too attached to using that wire. Basically, there is a corrugated rubber hose running int the top of the liftgate. The wiring runs through there. The inner door skin is easily removed t complete the run to the bulb. Don't forget to ground the other lead.

I hate to have the all the wires going everywhere and not have the clean look. Would you happen to have a diagram for what tail light wire I need to hook into? Thanks man....Jamie |

I think the park lamps are royal blue. Use a test light to make certain.
