Thought I was getting a good deal...
 

Bought a Warn winch and bumper for $1331 a few nights ago. If you've ever looked it up, that's a pretty good deal for an out the door price.

Of course, it was too good to be true... I received an email stating that the part was on backorder (uh huh)

The cheapest I could find it anywhere was between 1600-1700 bucks after losing that deal.

I did some more searching and finally came up with another company that will sell it to me for 1504 out the door including shipping.

I hated paying $1500 bucks for a winch especially since the autostrata one on ebay is going for almost half of that (unfortunately I don't like the looks of it... (no offense to those that do))

I think I'm done modding for a while.

I've already raised the truck and bought new wheels/tires, tinted the windows and it hasn't been in my driveway for 3 days yet.

Funny thing is, I've had a bunch of bets with friends and family saying I couldn't go xxx days without modifying my truck. I can't install a supercharger now because I made a $1000 bet that I can't go a year without installing one. :mad:

I'm partial to the Warn winch. I think with most machinery you get what you pay for and Warn makes a quality unit. Installing it yourself or with the help of a strong friend, will save lots of bucks!
