2003 h2 ,the other day i was saying that i had no real problems but yesturday the red engine light came on like the ring of death on the x box,hope its nothing serious the rig still runs great ,i'm hoping its an oxygen sensor red light does not flash so could be emmission problem . i had to disconnect the battery after it happened for something else when i reconnected it light had gone out but 2 days later it came on again,i guess its of to the dealership

You could try an auto parts store to check the code and
most will do it for free.

Plus you can buy a hand held scan tool for about $100

We had a problem with one of our cars and we had it
scanned, it turned out to be a broken gas cap and bought
a new one for less than $10 and we were gone in 15 minutes.

I agree.... bring it to a parts store and at least scan it for free.

heard alot about doing that what are my options in burlington ontario canada ,i tried the gas cap just incase it wasn,t on properly will check out to if i can see anthing else wrong with it maybe i can try napa or other parts stores around town to get the code i know the dealer will be $80 cdn plus
