I sure hope we don't play Detroit.

While I think the Avs (Flames, Devils and Sharks, too) play at a higher level during the playoffs, I'm not sure we can handle the Wings. I would much rather play the Sharks or the Flames for the Semi-finals and the Oilers in the finals.

It was great. I was a big Oilers fan last night. My 2YO and I watched every minute cheering for the Oilers.

We have the possibility that the 1,2,3,and 4 seeds all lose in the first round of the western conference. Has that ever happened? Now I feel better about Av's(5 seed) beating Dallas(4 seed) since Oilers were an 8 over a one. Well maybe not so much better.

Also would love to see Edmonton versus Calgary. Thats like USC versus Notre Dame.
