Once I was in a driving school, one thing the instructor said stuck in my mind: never try to avoid an animal. Many people got killed or suffered serious injuries and losses by trying to avoid animals. The consequence is just not worth it. Do not risk human lives over a cat or dog.
Your insurance, or man, your insurance... guess the insurance companies knew what they are doing, all in the numbers.
