Re: Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
Well we did a tune up, plugs and wires, changed the fuel filter, it has 2 new batteries and a new 2nd alternator. The problem is that the car likes to just die on its own sometimes and then sometimes it wont start back up right away until a minute or two later also there was some black smoke out of the exhaust but only once we noticed it I think. We're going to replace the engine coolant temp sensor because we noticed this problem with the gauge as we were checking for problems about the car dieing.
So anyways where is the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor in the engine? We need to find it to replace it. We already bought the sensor it was only $20.
Anybody know where it is?
