I have the Z3 and love it. You have to trim the rear inside of the dash to install it, and you do lose the rear controls. There are also that add-ins to make the steering wheel controls functional, etc. that all add to the expense. Pioneer has a flat $250 repair (exchange) charge, which I think is reasonable for this unit. If you pick up a Z1 or Z2, there are upgraded hard drives available to make it a Z3 for cheap money.
