H2 Corsa Touring Cat Back system
Corsa: Hummer H2 system. System Includes: front "Y" pipe and tail pipe.
Will not affect emissions testing where county requires testing. I'm in the DFW Metroplex!
This sale is for one Take-off CORSA Performance Hummer H2 Touring Edition w/ a single Off-road tip. CORSA's straight-through nonrestrictive design is specifically tuned for the H2's 6.0L engine. It utilizes the patented Reflective Sound Cancellation (RSC) technology for superior acoustic control providing a robust sound at full-throttle and is whisper-quiet at cruise and allows the muffler to tune out the undesirable low frequencies that cause droning, while reducing back pressure.
This exhaust system is made from stainless steel to provide long life and performance along with computerized mandrel bending to assure a perfect fit and easy installation.
The Touring Edition is for enthusiasts desiring improved performance and greatly enhanced sound quality. Features: Great Performance Sound - robust at full-throttle & whisper-quiet at cruise 100% 304L stainless steel
Listen to the muffler: http://www.corsaperf.com/hummerh2.htm
CORSA RSC™ TOURING exhaust system responds with a more reserved, deep, V-8 sound, yet throaty under acceleration. A muffler shop will install very reasonable cost.
Installs using factory hangers!
Muffler is P/N 14633. This system retails for $950.
Why pay a new system when this one is exactly the same!
Cash or paypal - $475
Will deliver within 50 miles of Plano.
Will not ship (it will cost $145 to ship. I checked)

Re: H2 Corsa Touring Cat Back system
Looks to have been welded on or repaired just towards the rear of the muffler. What happened, did they replace it under warranty and this is the old rewelded one? Doesn't that weld defeat reason for having an all stainless steel exhuast that won't rust? Why is it so discolored?

Re: H2 Corsa Touring Cat Back system
I have the same exhaust, its awesome, really awesome. That seems to be just the color that the exhaust pipes are. Not sure if its due to heat or not. My corsa exhaust system was actually installed by the dealer on my previous h2 as a dealer item (the dealer was selling them).

Re: H2 Corsa Touring Cat Back system
Is that a dent in the canister, in the first pic?

Re: H2 Corsa Touring Cat Back system
There is no rust on it. It's all stainless that discolors when it is exposed to normal operating temps.
The tip was that way when it was removed from the vehicle.
Yes, there is a small surface dent on it.
No, it doesn't affect anything.
It's a "Take-off" system. Removed because the owner wanted to go back to stock to trade it in.
TOMP, I have no idea why you would flag this as Lame...
Thanks for the positive comments PTEAM!

Re: H2 Corsa Touring Cat Back system
One small dent? That's strange because last week when it was on ebay there was more than one. There was a long indention and one round one. Did you flip the muffler over?
Also, what about the re-weld job?

Re: H2 Corsa Touring Cat Back system
I take it you aren't interested.
What difference does a surface dent make to the function of a Catback system? If you aren't interested, I don't understand why you are posting.
I haven't had this on Ebay yet.
"Also, what about the re-weld job?"
As I mentioned in post #6, the system is in the condition that it was when it was removed from the original vehicle. It was not my Hummer.
If you are looking for a new one: Go here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CORSA...QQcmdZViewItem It's 900 + Shipping.
Have a great weekend.

Re: H2 Corsa Touring Cat Back system
Here's the bottom line, Phil: You claim that your exhaust is "exactly the same" as a new one when in fact it's not. Whether surface dents affect the performance or not, your verbiage is misleading. Secondly, you can't answer the question about the welded/repaired tailpipe...and trust me, that's a repair (you can go look at a new one on the Corsa website...no welds).
Members look out for other members, so if you are going to be anything less than completely forthright, you better get used to being called out.

Re: H2 Corsa Touring Cat Back system
As I said above, I purchased this system exactly as it is without any history other than the original owner was selling his H2 and returning it to stock.
I purchased this setup to fit the muffler on a project I'm working on, but according to my builder in Florida, it was FAR too big:
Judging by this picture, it hangs below the frame rails by 3". It's an all new Stainless steel exhaust system from the motor back and he wanted to try several mufflers. He ended up with a Magnaflow.
If I offended anyone by offering a great product that works perfect at a great price, I guess you can't please everyone all of the time.
Have a nice day.
I'll put it on Ebay.
If anyone needs a "Take-Off" System that works perfect and sounds exactly like the clips on the Corsa site and is $400 less than new. Please send an email to me at philntx@aol.com

Pete, If you also will note on Corsa's website, the system that I'm selling is not illustrated anywhere. It was superceded by a system with an exchangeable off-road tip. As shown in the PDF file below
The system that I have only has one pipe and doesn't have the capability of having a different tailpipe attached.
Here are the installation instructions for the new system: http://www.corsaperf.com/installHUMMERsys.pdf
If you have an illustration that is different, please let me know, and I will stand corrected.
And I do appreciate the fact that you took the time to check.

Actually, I didn't check...I have firsthand experience installing the same exhaust on a friend's H2, and there were no such welds. Except for the new tip option, the new tailpipe is the same as yours, mandrel bent tubing. There's just absolutely no reason a manufacturer who mandrel bends their tubing to put a weld in that area. And even if they did, it wouldn't be done so sloppily.
Yeah, I can't prove it with pictures (unless I drive 2 hours and crawl under my buddy's truck with a camera), so I'm just going to go with a little common sense and logic on this one.

Re: H2 Corsa Touring Cat Back system
I have the exact same cat back exhaust system and can confirm with 100% certainty there is not suppose to be a weld there.
It might not have been ebay, but perhaps another forum, but know I saw this exhaust with same repaired weld job somewhere else with more dents in the muffler. One of the dents was elongated.

Re: H2 Corsa Touring Cat Back system
A take off muffler is bound to have a dent or two , its used. Its a great sounding muffler, I recommend them to anybody. I'm going to be fitting mine which I took off my 03 h2 trade in and putting it on my 08 h2 hopefully it wont need any modifications...
