Default 4WD contol buttons

I think the light in my control box for the top round button is burnt out. Should it light up at night? The bottom 3 light up. If it is supposed to be light, can I replace the light?

The top one (that has the diagram of the front and rear axles on it) does not have a lamp in it. The other 3 do though

That is strange. I wonder what the logic is behind that?

The top one is active by default which does not require indication. The lower three are optional, which have to indicate when an option has been selected. This is set by the IEEC standards.

My top button is to lock the rear diff and it is round. I drive it using the top rectangle button.
