Should my driver positions automatically set depending on which key fob I open the door with? My wife has an Envoy that works that way. On the H2 it seems that you have to use the # on the door to switch driver positions. Thanks,
Frank

The number on the fob should corresponde to the number on the door and it's settings.

I think the 2005 H2's dropped that feature. My 2003 adjusts the seat when I unlock with the fob.

O5 changed that feature, no automatic seat adjustment, you must push the pbutton on the door panel. If you use the easy seat exit, then the damn thang doesn't goe back into position. You want notice until your driving, then you have to stop put it in park, and push the stupid button before the seat will return to the desired location...

I have an 05 sut and the entire seat memory feature sucks. The worst part is the easy exit feature, if you don't push the desired seat setting before putting the car in gear you have to stop, put the truck in park, and then push the memory button you want. I guess gm feels like the seat shouldn't be able to adjust to any one saved setting unless the truck is in park, but I can manually adjust my seat while driving. That makes no sense at all. I have just turned the easy exit off and keep the seat in the same position all the time.

So my wife could get the number 1 fob, and I could get number 2. It's my truck, but it's her world, and I just live in it.

In 05 they dropped that feature of the fobs selecting driver 1 or 2. However, you can go to your local Hummer dealer and ask them to enable this feature like on the older H2's. Then they have to call GM to get a special program number called a VCI number, and they can reprogram your truck to work that way. If you plan on doing this you may want to print this up and show it to your dealer because most dealers are probably in the dark that you can do this.

Anyway, it's centered in the dash opening, just not centered on the seat.
