I once used a online tire size calculator to compare my stock Lightning tires to some 20 inchers I wanted to order, it gave ride height difference, MPH difference, gear ratio change etc. Anyone know where this is located. I have exactly 1 inch of clearance getting into my garage & I want a set of 37" MT/R's & am assumeing they will put me out of the garage.

Here are a few, but the first one is probably what you are looking for.

I know this may sound stupid, but I would think that with a 2" tire height divided by two actually would give you 1" in increased vehicle height. Thus you would have no clearance.

That would be based on static information, not including the dynamics of air temp and tire pressure.

Don't know where the calculator is....... but, the 37"'s will add 1" in height/clearance over the stock 35"'s. (2" increase in diamaeter=1/2 of diameter above/below center line)

I, as well as a few others around here have/do run the 37"'s and they are worth the risk of leaving the beast in the driveway.

I believe I used that tire calculator at Randysringandpinion.com. Good luck.
