Default H2 SUT & Tail-Gator to Haul Polaris UTV?

Lots of acronyms going on in the title but it is what it is.

I'm selling my 2007 CBR1000RR and someone wants to trade for a 2010 Polaris RZR S 450km with warranty. Never had one but they look like a lot of fun!

The only problem is... I have no room for a trailer at my house other then my garage and I don't want one in my garage. So... I started looking.

This is what I found...

http://www.tailgatorcarrier.com/TailGatorProducts.aspx

Do you think any of these would work well with an 2008 H2 SUT? I know the UTV is 1000lbs but I don't know the tongue weight on the H2 or if this is something I should just stay away from.

Let me know your thoughts.

My first thought would be how wide is the bed on the SUT? Those UTVs are pretty wide. My feeling also is it would be too heavy. I think the tongue weight rating is like around 600 lbs. ??

But you would only need a small trailer to haul one. For the price of one of those things you could a nice little trailer that would serve more purposes than just hauling the UTV.

Just a thought.

The issue with the trailor is that I don't have anywhere to put it and I don't really want to pay to store it.

Found this out...

Box width at top: 59.0"
Box width between wheelhouses: 47.3"
Tailgate width: 51.4"

The RZR S is 60.5" wide so it will not work for what I'm looking for.

I know the RZR is only 50" wide but that's not the one I'm looking at and I'm still not sure if that will work.

For the sake of other H2 SUT owners, I'm going to find out if it will work for other applications. ATV's, Golf Carts etc.

I would have to agree. That is just a hell of a lot of weight waaay behind the rear axle. Even if you had airbags to level the ride, it has got to handle horribly. Can you imagine having to swerve for a road hazard with 1000 lbs sticking out 8-10 feet past the rear axle?
