Default Custom door panels

So has anyone took the initiative to create or does anyone know anyone who has made custom door panels yet?

From what I can tell it's easier to just buy an entire door, the metal, window, door panel and all associated with the door with the panel already installed then to attempt to buy a panel

Entire door assembly - $450 ebay
Door panel $950 - 1 year ago, and it took the dealer several months to find someone with it, so the possibility of even finding a new door panel is extremely unlikely from what I can tell if at all possible.

the 2008-2009 door panels regularly retail for around $200 on ebay.

You would think there would be enough profit in it to start building custom door panels by now..

Dunno just sayin..........

Default Re: Custom door panels

I would love some custom panels simply because I know they would be of better quality than GM's even if they were made in Uncle Billy's trailer down by the river. I had to replace all four of mine about two weeks ago just cuz I was sick of all of the busted little things that kept getting under my skin. OCD must be running high lately or something...

Spent about 2G's to get all 4 of them, black, leather, shipped, new. Could have used that $ on some of my other wishlist upgrades.

it's amazing how crappy the door panels are, unions complain they don't get paid **** and demand more pay meaning less money for quality meaning **** quality meaning loss of sales meaning loss of the bussiness.
